GRO and hobbits

Heading back back to Manilla turned out to be a great ride because all the roads are paved! My standards for comfort are getting really low now. I was just thankfull not to be creeping along a bumpy dusty road. Our first night in Manilla we stayed with Leo a guy a met from the internet at Globalfreeloaders.com We stayed with him 1 night and the next day his driver took us to the heart of the city (Malte)where we booked into a hostel. We spent the day walking around the city and playing frisbee in the park. Since we are white we are always on display but combined with playing frisbee in the park we drew a small crowd. It was funny and everybody always wants to throw the frisbee. (which they never do right and then everbody laughs asian style)

That night we hit the town by starting off at the Hobbit House. This is a bar which is run by little people. I would say midgets but there were all sorts of little people, dwarfs, midgets, Webster looking people (whatever thats called) This is the first place I thought that I might be able to take the bouncer. After that the night is blur of Karoke bars, GRO Bars and dance clubs. (GRO stands for Guest Services Officer, its nice way to say hookers)

Frisbee in Manilla

The next day we decided to stay with another freeloader in a different part of town.(PUJ was his name) It turns out that he has been hosting people for 10 years and had a huge wall with pictures of them all. He took us out that night to see his side of the city even though he had to work very early. Manilla is a huge place and it was nice to see 3 different areas.
