We got up feeling all a little hungover to catch a taxi to the port where we would take a ferry to Ko Samui. Once we got to Ko Samui we walked along the most touristy beach we'd been to to find accomodation. We eventually found a room on Chaweng Beach with 2 single beds and they let all 4 of us stay in the same room which had been a problem in all the other places we'd asked at. The 4 of us rented 2 bikes to ride around the Island with and see a few sights. We saw the Grandfather and Grandmother rocks that look just like a penis and vagina, but were dissapointing as a tourist attraction. We had a great time riding through roads that took us in the jungle out of the way of most people. We had a drink in a bar on top of a hill overlooking the whole bay which was beautiful and ate really cheap food from a stall on the side of the road.

The banana shakes here are incredible. Sometimes 50 baht sometimes 10 baht (that's just over $1 to 20 cents). We walked around the markets which were just about as plentiful as the ones on Kao San Road. It's so hard not to buy things when everything is so cheap, but I have a goal to not do that and besides my day pack doesn't fit much. Later we planned on going to a Caberet and possible a ping pong show, but stupidly we all lay down to rest and fell asleep. I woke up during the night not feeling well at all and spent the next 4 hours puking and the other thing - sometimes at the same time. I was the first to get sick and I got really sick. In fact I spent more time in the bathroom than in the bed that night. The next day I slept on and off all day and the others took the bikes and finished exploring the Island. That night the others went out and played connect four and pool with hookers. Ben was a hit as he was without a girlfriend.
