Busy day today as it's my last day here.  First cooking class where first we went shopping in the market, then made Fish Amok.

Using a pestle and mortar to make the curry paste, this will be the base for the meals today.  Mine really should have been cut finer and ground more, but good enough to be used right away.  We also had to make coconut milk, which is made by squeezing water through fresh shredded coconut.

The next dish was stir fried beef with morning glory.  It was very spicy (three chillies).

Then finally chicken soup (Sgnor Chhrouk) spicy but a bit favourless.  We got a small cookbook which I went straight to the post office to mail to Mum.  But as it was $7.50 she will have to wait until I'm in Vietnam.

Then I went to the museum which was a bit disappointing, one room of statues but it was only $1.

The last activity for the day is a circus show (Phare Pinleu Selpek).  The show was good it had two acts.
Act 1
Act 1
Act 2
Act 2

The first was by a teacher at the school and was very good.  The second was done by the kids aged 15-20.  It was very fun and did a great job well worth the $8.  Early night tonight.

Tomorrow I catch the bus to Sihanoukville, it's a 10 hour bus.  Fun!!  But I need a visa to Vietnam.
