It was a gorgeous day for our second landing at Neko Harbour.  There were Chinstraps and Gentoo penguins mainly Gentoo though.

Anne and I decided not to climb the mountain and Neko Harbour

set up camp at the bottom. I stripped off to my t-shirt and we did a great job of babysitting the cold weather gear that they didn't need.

We gave direction to the people going up.
"With every step the view gets better.  To the right for the penguins, go left for the views.  Please stick to the trail. "

We saw lots of avalanches at Neko Harbour.  Blue-eye Shag

Our first leopard seal sighting was on the way back to the boat.

After lunch our great weather was over. The snow started as we took a zodiac ride around the glaciers and icebergs, trying not to get too close in case of calving.  The blue eye shags were nesting in the rock faces as we went around.

Visibility became worst when we landed at Paradise Bay.  Half way up the fill I decided it wasn't getting any better and went back down to the Argentine hut to wait for Rahul.

I spent the rest of the time chatting to the crew and making snowballs.
