San Martin is the last of our Argentina stops, for this trip i might add as weīll deffo holiday here again someday. To sum up Argentina in 5 words or a paragraph would be impossible and an injustice to the place. Itīs just a perfect holiday/backpacker destination regardless of what youīre looking for. Weīll miss it terribly. Only less than a week in South America left. Absolutely gutted.
"Whatīs that in my eye Lou?"..... sniff sniff.
We ended up in San Martin due to the fact that the direct bus to Pucon was full up. So we spent most of the day on Friday just chilling in this hip little town in the Andean lake district. The bus drive was lovely with plenty of nice things to see and San Martin itself is quite a nice little town with a small beach on the lake and large mountains surrounding it on all sides. We hit the Dublin (South) bar for some grub and a few beverages before our 6 am bus to Pucon the next morning. I donīt know why for the life of me they called it the Dublin "South" bar but itīs a definite plus to have an Irish name on the door of your pub anywhere in the world as it attracts everybody local and international. Not that any of the pubs resemble anything like an Irish pub but itīs a smart marketing ploy.
