We are here in Huntsville waiting out the storm. Gustav the Hurricane has hit land here and we are expecting it to move into the path that we are planning on taking from here to Santa Fe, New Mexico so we have decided to hang out here for another day or two. Anne and Leonard have generously invited us to stay here until the storm passes.

Yesterday Steve and I went to several stores to shop for a new laptop for Anne. We finally decided on a nice HP multi-media laptop computer along with some other goodies. We helped get everything working for her.

Anne made a lovely dinner (Leonard barbecued steaks) and we were joined by Jeff and Dave again. We had drinks out on the patio before dinner while watching the (what seemed like hundreds) of hummingbirds whiz around us. We were able to get some video of the hummingbirds...you would not be able to imagine the sight of so many of these amazing birds in one place, so over the next couple of days we will try to get a small clip up on the blog for you to see Hummingbirds

Today we went to Bridge Street Mall in Huntsville. We had lunch then walked around and went window shopping. We have been searching around for more Monster Java drink for Steve...we have not been able to find the flavor he got when in New York (Nut-up) but did find another Java flavor at the Military Commissary on the Base that Leonard can buy for us. We will go back there tomorrow and buy some for the road.

Not much else to report for today. I will take a day off tomorrow so if you don't see an entry, know we are safe and playing safely in Huntsville.
