Yesterday was warm and sunny. For all those people who know Steve well, you won't be surprised that he relaxed during the day by washing Mike's car with him. Trish was so amazed with how great it looked after, she said that it looked better than when they bought the car.

Before setting out with Katrina, Brianna and Trish to go into Herkimer (where their local Walmart is located), Katrina took me for a drive around the lake (10+ miles). She has her Learner's Permit so she is still trying to get her 20 hours of driving in before she can get her license. She did really well.

I really needed to get my hair cut, so I decided that I might as well go into Walmart to get it cut since it was one of the only places that was open on Sunday. The gal did a great job. Trish thought I should get a different colour for my hair, so I let her choose a colour for me.

Once back at home, Katrina played hairdresser and applied the colour...Trish had a great time hosing me down in her kitchen sink...always the big sister taking advantage of being in a dominant position...just like when I was so small I couldn't open a door without her assistance...I had to go through a whole routine saying "Pretty please...Pretty please with sugar on top...Pretty please with sugar on top and a cherry"...then and only then...if she felt like it she would open the door for me. Now she was in a position with a hose and water..what was I thinking? Sorry no photos of that incident...Steve said I really wouldn't want that to be recorded for all to see.

Trish and I stayed up late to watch a movie...her favorite one that I had never seen - August Rush - I thought I would not be able to stay up to watch the whole movie...but it turned out to be so good that I ended up staying up for the whole thing. If you haven't seen the movie, you should go and rent it.

We now have the bedroom door to Katrina's room open so if the cats want to get out and wander around, they can. It seems that BooBoo is quite comfortable to give them the space they need to get adjusted.

Today is more overcast, a good day for taking photos. I will post some of the photos tomorrow.

Have a great day...we are going to enjoy our last day here and tomorrow we are off to Windsor, Ontario.
