Yesterday was a nice relaxing day at Dave and Mary's place. We took a drive to the country side before going downtown to have dinner at the Blue Cactus with Dave, Mary, Andrea, Terry, Steve and I. It was a lovely evening and for the first time since going on the road, that we were able to relax - not having to worry about the cats.

Staying at Dave and Mary's place was a real treat for us, not only because we were able to spend time with our good friends, but the entertainment we had with the animals, made for great laughs. When we arrived home from dinner, we discovered that Gonzo and Cocoa had decided to wander out of the room they had been staying in. Clearly one of the dogs had opened the door for them (likely to have a snack on the cat food). Cocoa was relaxing on Dave and Mary's bed until Macie decided that she had a new friend...Cocoa swatted at Macie and she quickly learned that Cocoa was not quite ready to make friends Best Friends for 40+ Years

Once we located Gonzo (under Dave and Mary's Bed), we got them settled into the guest room and decided that it was better for them to stay in there as the door was able to latch properly so the dogs were not able to enter the room. The dogs and cats have provided for many photo opportunities. Too cute for words.

Before going to bed, Cocoa and Gonzo had another walk around the house...they felt safe as the dogs were in Dave and Mary's room...they don't know what to think of all of the activity...the dogs are very friendly and do not shy away from the cats at all...they are just curious.

Today we are heading to Winchester, Ontario to stay with Andrea and Terry for the night. It is another sunny day, a good day to just sit back and visit with good friends before heading to New York state.
