Hello everyone!!
Thanks for the two parents and Aaron who have commented on our blog as we do like hearing from home (one week down ... eight to go!) We are now in Amsterdam and man is it hectic!!! there is cars trams bikes and motorbikes coming left right and centre and that doesnt even include the people everywhere!! you have to have eyes in the back of your head to walk around safely!!! We were navigating our way to our hotel (The heart of Amsterdam) which is right smack bang in the middle of the red light district!! Which also brings a new meaning to "window shopping" you want blondes brunettes fatties skinnies... just keep window shopping till you find what you want ... just imagine going to work everyday putting on your best panties and bra and just standing at your window till a customer chooses you! very funny expecially when we heard some guy go "yuck she's got a dick..."
You walk around and the aroma of Pot is in the air everyone is smoking it and the smell is just oozing out of the cafes. Crazy town. Yesterday in Berlin we did a 4 hour walking tour of the city. It is amazing city so much history. We visited the Brandeburg Gate, The Hotel Adlon(where Michael Jackson held the baby out the window) old Nazi buildings, Hitlers Bunker and where he committed suicide and of course the Berlin Wall or what is left of it!!! The tour was excellent. Berlin has some beautiful old buildings. Better go, Take care and will talk to you all soon. Loys of Love, Tameka and Colin. More thumbnails ...
