A bit more of a metroplois then sleepy Roscoff but still maintaining that Bretan charm.  It’s landmark attraction is the huge aqueduct style bridge on which the trains run.  So we spent a few hours exploring Morlaix, and Mike was handy to have around with his fluent frency.   Had a savage steak dinner there and briefly exchanged life stories there before parting our ways.  I had about an hour to wonder around until my train.  I   I took one last glimpse at the atlantic ocean before heading onward to Rennes.

One thing that I love about France is the smell.  Walking along any busy street is a real treat for the nostrils.  You will pass a boulangerie and get the lovely fresh baking smell, then perhapps the wonterful sweet smell of a chocolatier followed perhapps by a dark roast coffee aroma.  Totally draws you into these places too, by the end of the street for all of a sudden seem to have a crossiant and coffee and a bar of chocolate.
