I really wasn’t expecting anything from Roscoff. So I was very pleasantly surprised to find a lovely quaint little village. The weather was gorgeous, so that obviously influenced my first impression of the place. I made my first random acquaintance outside the port. A lad called Mike, who was an avid traveler and was headed the same general direction, for a bit anyway. He was my contrast, nothing booked, literally walked off the ferry with a mindset ‘right, so how do I get to Bordeaux’ I liked that. He was planning on walking across the top edge of Spain on a 800km pilgrimage, which does deserve some kudos I reckon. So we arsed around Roscoff, had breakfast and then continued onto Morlaix. The rail station in Roscoff really summed up the town, and in its toilet I was quite surprised to find whats shown in the photo. I though it would be a few weeks before i encountered this kind of thing.
