After driving on a violently bouncy bus through the Marlborough wine region surrounded by beautiful white capped mountains, we arrived at the town where you catch the ferry to the North Island.  That would have to wait until next time I pass through.  I just had enough time to go for a gentle hike to Bob's Bay.  I've been having ankle problems and I'm trying not to be on my ankle too long.  I was hoping to do the Queen Charlotte Sound Track, but this is not the right time for a three to five day hike.  Hopefully, when I pass by next time.  Enjoyed a delicious meal of Green Lipped Mussels from the region and a Pinot Noir for supper.  Then headed back to the madness at the hostel and tried to read my book (booch).  Short, sweet visit to Picton.
