Visiting Philadelphia. On the road again...into Old Philadelphia. Liberty Hall...Liberty Bell...Ben Franklin and Betsy Ross....but first slow, crawling traffic. The campground we were staying at was 70 kms away, nothing closer. Over an hour and half to get there and find a parking spot then a line-up to get tickets to get into Liberty Hall....we decide to skip the inside tour and just take a look outside.   This is a big tourist attraction for the Americans. I would assume it's their #1 patriotic attraction. Why else would you wait in line to see a bell with a crack in it? We walk around old Philadelphia, have lunch, see Betsy Ross' house where she made the first US flag then call it a day. Still hot and muggy and Alexis would prefer to be swimming then walking around with a million other people looking at stuff that doesn't interest her. We stop off and do some grocery shopping then head back to the campground.
