Show trip route
#1-The view of Hong Kong. I've come up to the top of Victoria Peak on the tram. The 360 degree view of the island is breathtaking even though the smoggy air is taking my breath away in a different manner.
#2-The lovely (Chinese) lady sitting at the table next to me.
#3-The lovely lady was sitting with her husband/boyfriend. They finish lunch and she gets up to go to the restroom. As she gets up she puts her hand on his shoulder and the look on her face and the way the action was performed was of perfect love. It's those little actions that mean so much and seem to be performed so little in couples these days. It was refreshing to see.
To the top and then I start wandering down. End up at the zoo....and free WI-FI. Yeah. I've been in town for 3 days and no one back home has heard from me since I left. I email my mom and post a comment on Facebook. I sit by the Zoo fountain and watch a young woman exercising. She's not exactly dressed for the activity. High heeled boots and a skirt. She does some stretches, a little jog around the area, and various other exercises. I did enjoy the show. She also smiled at me.
Back at the ferry terminal and I've just missed the one back to Mui Wo Sit outside by the dock by the bay and try my SPOT transmitter. I had sent out 3 messages over the past few days to those on my list and a posting gets made on Facebook showing my location but none went out for some reason. The reason I wasn't worried about no internet and letting family know I had arrived safely was due to this. The transmitter indicates that this message has also gone out. I'll wait and see if it works this time.
The plan was to go to the bar where the hotel has free internet to post the past few pre-written entries. I was tired from three days of walking and so I stayed in my room, re-packed my things, and went to bed.
My visit to Hong Kong over.
Love to all!
PS. This entry being written as posted a few days from now when I'm in Nanning.
