Another gorgeous day in Retirement Land.

Well, what else am I going to call Palm Springs? The land of golf carts, gas powered wheel chairs, gray hairs, and Viagra.

My Aunt is amazing. She believes and has faith in God and her Angels. She came to Palm Springs without reserving a condo unit. Condos are about as easy to find empty this time of year as a bar on Super Bowl Sunday. NOT!

Her Angels, or, her prayers, came through. She found a 2 bedroom condo unit. Available immediately. Someone had to leave in a rush and the unit came available. When I arrived there was a parking spot (6 actually) across the condo unit for my truck and trailer. Everything within reach. The only problem? Our condo is only available until the 17th. No problem. When the time comes we'll find another unit. I always get what I need. Tag team believing in the Law of Attraction and/or prayer. The Universe, God, What? Is!. Names given to describe a deity, process or law that works wonders when you truly believe and have faith. My Aunt is a retired school principal and was also a nun.

My truck and trailer was parked across from our unit for 5 days taking up 6 parking spaces. No one complained. Everyone was curious about "What? Is!". WHAT do I do? Then another security guard came by (quite a few had come before without a problem) and ticketed my truck for about 10 different infractions. It was bound to happen. There's always someone who's a stickler for details. A law, is a law. There were quite a few empty spots in the complex. The truck and trailer weren't bothering anyone. Then the warning from management. 3 hours to move or the tow truck would come. Little did they realize that a tow truck wouldn't have been able to tow me away due to the way I was parked as there was a carport in the way. It's not like we hadn't inquired if there would be a problem leaving the truck & trailer where it was. The condo unit owner had, supposedly, asked the condo board for permission. Management just had to ask us to move. The way they did it was like a threat. Not nice!

What to do? Solution? Rent a space in a Public Storage facility. Went to see one place. I'm in luck. They have a promotion going on. $1.00 for the first month. HEY! That's all I need. 1 month. They don't have outdoor spaces but have one storage locker that is 12 X 34 feet. Trailer will fit perfectly in there. Awesome! Indoor storage for only a buck. That's what I did yesterday.

Today was find another place to stay for the last 2 weeks of my Aunts 4 week stay. I'm flexible. I come and go as the Universe directs. If we don't find another place to stay my Aunt Dolores could move in with my Aunt Pauline and her husband Jack, and I would move on to wherever I need to be. Living day to day as a gypsy is awesome. No worries.

There was an ad in the paper for available condo units in the weekend paper. My Aunt Pauline had cut the ad out and given it to us. My Aunt Dolores was getting aunt-sy (OK-antsy). She has faith in her Angels and God, but it seems that faith is lacking some days. I don't have any doubts anymore. I knew the Universe would provide if that's what was planned. I called this morning. One of the four units still available. In a complex across the street from where we are currently. The only problem? Minimum rental period is 1 month. So, till March 17th. Works for me. More on my plans later. My Aunt's out for a walk. I'll call back later.

My Aunt Dolores comes back from her walk with Aunt Pauline. I tell them what I found out. Pauline tells Dolores that she should stay the extra 2 weeks. Plane ticket and health insurance can be changed. We can't see the unit until tomorrow morning. My Aunts have heard horror stories about the condition of some units. Got to have faith.

Everything happens as it should when you are following your path.

After that we took the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway to Mt. Jacinto State Park. Had to play in the snow and take a few pictures.

My dance card is filling up. Went through the events calendar. So much to do and so little time.
