As I am riding I will think back on the past 7 weeks of riding through Northern Europe. Having ridden over 7500 kms, I have seen a lot of amazing countryside. I have had many experiences that I have never had before. I will remember the learning experiences. Realizing that it is better to arrive in a larger city, where I will be staying, with less than a full tank of gas. The same goes for ferry rides. The less fuel in the tank means the motorcycle is less top heavy for manoeuvring in traffic and makes the bike easier to park. I have also learned that my cycling gear is waterproof, but it's the inside layer and not the outside. So don't keep my passport in the outside pocket.
I have noticed that even though I speak French and English, and have all my life, the English in the U.K and the French in France have different expressions to say the same thing. We speak the same language, the underlying form, but the words themselves, form, are different. I have been riding a motorcycle, a motorbike, une moto, un motard, plus a few other terms I can't remember at this time. I have learned that our body and mind adapts quite easily to various situations. It hasn't taken me that long to get use to riding a motorcycle in the most varied circumstances. Situations I wouldn't have encountered by learning to ride at home.
I have learned that for the Law of Attraction to work we have to be very clear in what we want and that the Universe will ensure that we do get what we need to get what we want even if we aren't that clear ourselves. Once we have determined what our purpose is, what our dreams are, what we are wishing for, we can no longer be wishy-washy about going about it. Just go for it. There is no reason to settle and to say, "Hey, this is good enough!", even though what you currently have isn't what you set out for.
I found, at least, two women during my Expedition that would have "satisfied" my "craving" for companionship but they were not what I need to accomplish what my purpose is. At some point in time I would have realized that that relationship was not enough. Why? Because we cannot be truly happy unless we are fulfilling our souls purpose and have what the Universe, God, the Tao, What? Is!, or whomever or whatever you think is providing "stuff" to us, WILL give us if we ask and are extremely clear in knowing that that is what we want and NEED.
My Expedition is not over. Not the physical part of it, at least. The learning and having faith part is, mostly. I still have my doubts. I wouldn't be human if it didn't. My Journey of Discovery ended with me finding what I set out for. That is. I did find what the meaning of life is. Grace. Peace. I did find that. That is why Paul's Journey blog ended so abruptly. I found what I had set out to find. That was my Journey of Discovery.
I set out on this Expedition to experience life and to see how these "laws" and "theories" that others talk about really work. I have accomplished that. Those of you who do not believe in any of this are still doubting because I haven't proven anything yet. Some of you believe that Jesus Christ walked on this earth and is the Son of God. You have no proof but faith and the words of others. You may believe in some other deity or maybe just in the Universe or Science. Very few people on this earth do not believe in some "higher power". You believe because you have this FEELING that we aren't just some random "freak" occurrence of nature in this Universe of ours.
I DO Create my day, my life, my existence. I hope you start believing in the Power of YOU!
Think It! Feel It! Live It!
PS. I am now on holidays. After over a year at working at the most amazing job any one in the world can have I am officially on holidays! The thing is, how do you differentiate between my holiday time and my work time? Hmmmm?
