My public speaking SUCKS! A few years ago I was having this conversation with my friend Monique about all these ideas and thoughts that I have but they are all come out so disjointed when I try to explain them to people (I think I've mentioned this in Paul's Journey...or Not!). That's when she suggested I write a book. Though, from reading my blog, I'm sure I sound disjointed all the time anyway. That was what I was planning on doing when I left on "Paul's Journey of Discovery" last year. So now I have that book written, more or less, but then I still have a problem. The majority of writers make their money from the "talk show" circuit. That is, unless you are Agatha Christie, Nora Roberts, DEAD, or any other fiction writer that cranks out a new novel every year.
What I'm "selling" is a change in "Thinking" formula that is better explained and discussed verbally. Just reading about it won't get the, whole, point across. That means I have to become a better public speaker. I believe that is why I was "shown the way" to the Blarney Castle in the south west of Ireland. I wasn't planning on coming this way. I wanted to go to the east coast by Wicklow, but the Universe had other plans for me. You always get what you "NEED"!
By kissing the Blarney Stone you are provided with the gift of Eloquence. A lot of people are born with the gift of malarkey, or to put it bluntly, are full of shit when they speak. They know how to lay it on thick. There is a difference between eloquence and malarkey. Now that I've kissed this magical stone (see the picture as proof) my speaking abilities will greatly improve (well, that's what they told me...and why shouldn't I believe them?).
After visiting the Blarney Castle and it's grounds it was time to hit the road towards the south west coast of Ireland. My visit to Ireland over. Before I visited the Castle I had visited the Blarney Woollen Mill and it's store. They had more than just wool in here. I'm lucky (maybe) that I'm still broke and don't have any room on my motorcycle for any more stuff. There was so much here that I would have loved to have purchased. It was all so awesome. I did think of buying stuff and having it shipped home but decided against it, I am running short of funds again and my really BIG cheque hasn't arrived yet. I am expecting it by the end of September...or not!
The day had started off cloudy and foggy but cleared up shortly after I left Blarney. It was another awesome riding day along the south coast of Ireland. I am running out of superlatives to use to describe the countryside. Most of this ride was on the high speed motorway but that didn't matter with the sun shining and the undulating, sweeping asphalt.

The B&B I'm staying at is quite "plain" in this hamlet of Rosslare Harbour. I believe the hamlet/town is just here for the ferry terminal. There isn't much else around but a few hotels and restaurants.

Think It! Feel It! Live It!
