I decided to try the first hostel on my list even though the internet said they had no beds available. As I walk in there's a sign on the door saying the same things. I decide to ask. Lucky me! They do have a bed. Though it is expensive. Over 50 euros. But that's about as cheap as it comes in this town.
I have about 100 euros left which I have to exchange to Danish kroners. So 2 nights accomodations left (if there's a bed available) unless something pans out with the Couchsurfing. My bank accounts are empty again and credit cards are maxed to the limits.
I'm only a block from City Hall and they have free wi-fi access on this block
So I'm off to see the City before it gets dark and am keeping battery power to check for emails from the couch surfers.
Let's see if the Universe comes through for me. Really soon!
Think It! Feel It! Live It!
This written 5 hours later. After leaving McDonalds I realize that I have about $200 left on my Visa(after checking online). Tomorrow is the statement date when they will add the interest to the account ands max it out. I decide to withdraw that final $200 as a cash advance. Now guess what happens? The bank machine ate my card. That was the card I was using to pay for my gas and access my bank accounts. Now I have to go to the bank in the morning and try and get the card back. Oh! So that my family, namely Katrine who is funding my emergency cash knows, I still have my bank card so that I can get cash without my Visa. It's just that I rarely use that bank card so hopefully it works. After that I have this smart idea to try my Canadian Tire Mastercard at a different bank
I've exchanged my Euros for kroners so I have about 2000 kroners or $400.
I've received 2 no couches available from my requests. 2 still outstanding. I walked around Copenhagen for 3 hours tonight. I love this place. I have a lot of pictures to post. Or I've taken a lot of pictures. We'll see how many I post.
