We haven't had such a dirty sweaty sticky muggy feeling since Miami Airport when we changed planes to get to Rio back in September. Had a few Singapore Slings (cocktails) on Boat Quay in sweaty Singapore. They taste like red bull mixed with sherbit and sugar. It starts out okay but gradually gets sweeter and sweeter.
Did the whole walkin around thing and saw all the cool buildings etc. but the highlight was the Night Safari out at Singapore Zoo. Exceeded expectations. Both really enjoyed it. You won't see any decent photos because the camera flash doesn't do anything for the eyes of a nocturnal animal and its plain old pitch black without one, so... The main part is a tram ride where you sit back and see rhinos, lions, deer, flamingos, elephants, wolves......the list goes on. It's something different, and the set up out there in general is excellent. Had a drink at the bar and had some Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
