Gin Gin is west of Bundaberg and back on the main drag. There's these scientifically unexplainable craters in some womans back yard just as you come into Gin Gin from the Bundy side. That's all we can say on the matter, we couldn't explain how they were formed either.

Walked up to a lookout in Goodnight Scrub National Park south of Gin Gin.

Back to Gin Gin we went and took a left to the west to the longest unsupported tunnel in the southern hemisphere. It was hand dug 125 years ago and it's nearly 200m long. There's loads of bats in the middle of it.

After spending the night in Biloela, we set off to Kroombit Tops National Park to see the World War II plane wreck "Beautiful Betsy".....or so we thought. After coming so close to it, the last section was too far to walk before dark and too rough to drive without a 4WD. Maybe next time. Off up the coast to the Tropical Whitsunday Islands. The lightning storm we drove by was something else.
