A shark killed a young surfer the day we arrived in Balina. Apparently two hours after the attack they were back in surfing at the same beach even though the coast guards had asked people to stay clear of the water for miles around. It was the first death as a result of a shark attack in 15 years in the area.
There was no chance of either of us gettin eaten by a shark. We were tucked up in bed eatin Domino's Pizza in front of the telly in a motel. It was pissin rain outside anyway.
