After spending a long night on the bus from Barcelona to Salamanca (actually it was air-conditioned and very comfortable!)... we arrived Salamanca -quickly registered in our hotel and Bill and I hung out in the Plaza Major (very famous for many reasons not the least of which is that it was the setting for a new movie
Deception Point - we now have added that one to our must see movie list that have settings where we have travelled). The girls caught up on their writing and showering and now it is our turn as they are out exploring the town... stay tuned...more to come!!
Now I am going to try one more time to upload photos...here´s hoping!!

More of the Grand Tour
It all sounds wonderful....and exhausting in the way it should be. Mike & I got absolutely footsore in Rome...but it's the only way to go. Florence is a beautiful and more 'manageble' city I think. After waiting for hours to get into the big U... gallery we were quite disapponted in that large parts were closed for renovation and we got extremely tired of the Martyrdom of St. Sebastian on the cross with arrows in his side!!!! However, yes Florence & the towns of Tuscany should definitely to be on your 'to do' list in the future.
Have a wonderful time in Spain...you will be chatting up a Spanish storm when you get back....another week
