Hi Grandma and Stanpa
I hope you are having fun with your friends (including me! hee hee hee).
Today we are in NEW YORK - we have just left Canada; yesterday. We went onto a plane with a TV in front of you and you could watch the movies you would like to watch. I played lots of games! Dad played some games too. We had a lot of fun on the plane. If only Lace had slept and the plane wasn't delayed... and delayed again on the tarmac for 1 hour each way!!!
car and I saw them with Dad. Then we saw a big TRex and some big lego creations (as big as Mum and Dad's room).
For lunch we went to a restaurant called Planet Hollywood. Afterwards, we caught a cab to a museum called American Natural History Museum. We saw lots of amazing things! There were interesting Dino-fossils. Some of them were very small, some of them were actual size, which is their normal size, which was HUGE!
After the museum we went to a restaurant for dinner. Then we walked to the hotel and went up to the top of the building. There is a restaurant up on the 26th floor called The Top of the Tower. We could see lots of buildings from there. After the look we went back to our floor (floor 15) and I watched some TV with Mum and Dad and Lace went to bed.
Tomorrow we will be going to Central Park Zoo (if it is open). We will also go to FAO Schwartz; which is another big toy store other than ToysRUs. Mum also wants to check out the Sony Wonderlab, apparently there is a big robot at the door and you can ask it any question and it will answer the right answer. It sounds interesting.
Lace has gone to sleep now, so I should go to bed.
Goodnight - I Love You
LOve Quinn (and Lace) in New York: Beekman Towers Hotel
Well, the next day we walked and walked and walked! It was great! Unfortunately didn't do the zoo, but we did checkj out FAO Schwartz - GREAT!! Then we finally found Sony Wonderlab, but the robot wasn't there... HOWEVER... there was an enormous Spiderman crawling on the wall, so that was pretty cool.
We then kept walking and found, of course, The Empire State Building! That was great - the kids LOVED it - particularly Quinn! Great view as you can see from the photos.
We then found a few souveneirs, ate some pasta and fell into bed before training it on to Rhode Island the next morning.
