Heidi took me around the Denver area today. Started off heading up to Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater.  This is really a pretty great place and I can imagine that a concert in this place would be awesome.  We drove around the front range foothills and checked out a few bars. 

We then headed into Downtown Denver to get game tickets and check out several more bars.  Many of the bars have outdoor rooftop patios which are really nice.  Get to sit out in the sun, drink your beer, eat your food and just chill.  Ended up going to several of the bars including Coyote Ugly (like the movie).  Unfortunately it was a Tuesday afternoon, so the bars were pretty dead.  With more people I think they would be a lot of fun.  Heidi and I still had a great time though.   Have to admit that Downtown Denver has a lot of really good bars of all different types within walking distance.

 .  Just before the game when we were sitting outside at one of the nearby bars it started pouring for about 15 min (and it was only suppose to be a 10% chance of rain today.)  No big deal, just funny I think. 

We went to the Rockies Game.  They were playing the Tampa Bay Rays.  Coors Field is a really nice park and the Rockies were on a 11 game win streak.  Well one thing remained after the evening, the park is still really nice.  The Rockies got pounded by the Rays, 12-4.  It was a good day for my fantasy baseball teams though as both Longoria and Zorbrist from the Rays had good games.  Also got to see Clarissa’s niece play.

After the Rockies game we had a few more beers and then headed back for the evening.

Clarissa's NIECE?
I'm pretty sure it's her nephew who plays for Tampa.
Glad you're having fun Bucky, hope the weather dries out.
