Arrived in Shanghai at 6:30am (China time) and due to mis-communication, Calum didn't end up picking me up because he thought SJTU would be there, SJTU didn't pick me up because they thought FDU would be there.....aiya....not a good start!

Then I spent a good 30 minutes trying to figure out how to use the computer screen like public phone....what made me felt a lot better was that even the locals had no idea how to work it. It was pathetic and ended up I was teaching the locals how to use the public phones...

Many calls were made to find out what the plan was and I was finally picked up by Parker (VPER of @SJTU). Our journey is as follows:

40 mins bus > 10 mins subway > waited for 20 mins to meet Fini > 30 mins subway > walk walk walk....and walk...then walk.... and walk...YAY APARTMENT!!!

Then many boring logistics things had to happen so that I can legally stay in Shanghai and have a bank account yay!

First meal in Shanghai was shocking.....delicious but shocking becuase it was Italian!!! Grrrr! Vegetarians are so hard to find in Shanghai! Not cool!!! >:(

Anyways....more to update! First day is definitely not the best day, but learnt a lot already and already made a best buddy!! Funny she's from Australian! Yeya neighbouring countries!! wohoo!!

OMG lah~ that reminds me of 1st day i arrived in Shanghai hahahahaa i spent 2-4 hours to get to my apartment haha
