Well I've been in scotland for 6 days from when I left Portugal on the 6th.  Not much has happened since, which is absolutely awesome as its been so good to be able to put my feet up.  Normally wouldnt of been able to do this but we've been staying at Sam's house (Danielle's aunty).

First up we arrived in Glasgow in which i was the only Non-EU person to go through customs and i was given 20 questions by the frowned face unhappy with her job customs officer.  I dont understand why they cant just have a smile on their face as its pretty much the first communication with a new country and wouldn't it be good to set an example?  ...Depressing people!  We collected our bags and i was really glad to see my bag come through in the Faro airport as i had to check it through external luggage, as i bought this old musket style gun replica in Lisbon and need to declare it through airports.  We came through in Glasgow and there to mee us was Margaret and Harry, which are Dan's Nan's sisters.  They sounded like really nice people, and must be as Glasgow is 2 hours drive from Dundee (where we'll be staying) and they drove all the way to pick us up!  Yep, definatly nice people...  As we had a quick minor tour through Glasgow it looked a bit 'industrial' for my liking, and it was getting late and i was just keen to get to a nice couch and kick my feet up for once :-)  It was late when we hit Dundee and arrived at Sams house (lady who we're staying with).  Haha i think they all liked it when i greeted em with a "G'day!" (being Aussie).  sam had a cat named Figaro.  Now i'm not normally a cat fan but Sam reckons i'll warm up to this one - haha, righto, we'll see about that!  The night air is so clear and so crisp clean, but sooooo cold, so was glad to be inside a house with central heating.

Driving to Sams appartment from west Scotland to east Scotland i realised there arn't too many houses at all...  They're all like 4 story high buildings made into numerous amounts of flats...  But it all looked pretty nice and very clean, and i have to say again, with such crisp air.  Sams appartment wasn't too small, it was a nice size with all the comforts of home.  Sam seemed like a really nice woman, she's 38 with a daughter named Robyn, who's about 13.  Robyn however stays at her Grandma's house most of the time.  That night we seriously coulndt do much as everyone is buggered.  I got myself settled in, had a bit of a chat and crashed in my bunk-bed in which i'll be sleeping in during my stay
