We finally made it to San Antonio today where we visited The Alamo, the Buckhorn Museum, Tower of Americas and Hemisfair Park, and walked along the Riverwalk.  Of course we had forgotten that it is Spring Break and everywhere was crowded with visitors.

In the afternoon we drove back towards the campsite via New Braunfels.  We took an early exit and drove through the town and were surprised to see a Railway Museum.  Cliff made a quick turn and found some parking, but unfortunately the museum was closed.  We had a walk around the town, and stopped off at the Henne Hardware Store which has been operating for over 150 years and still has the original wooden floors.  It's like Aladdin's Cave and I had a hard job getting Cliff out again, he could have spent hours just wandering around!  After getting some food at Granzing BBQ we continued on to Landa Park for a walk along the Comal River.

We continued on our way to the campsite via River Road which winds alongside and crosses back and forth over the Guadalupe River.
