We are on our last day in Goa, and it's been a low key couple of days because everyone is feeling slightly under the weather.  Yes, the infamous traveller's diarrhoea has hit and it's laid us all a little low.  But, that isn't necessarily a bad thing, after all the partying of the wedding.  Unfortunately, we said goodbye to Martin and Clare yesterday, but welcomed KK and Kirsty for a couple of days.

We've not done much; lay on the beach, swum in the sea, hung out at the bar/restaurant at our resort.  All very calm and relaxing.  I had my first effort at bartering yesterday and managed to reduce the price of my purchases significantly, which I was very happy about.

It's been so lovely here - beautiful blue skies, lovely warm sea, golden sand that tickles at your toes.  So much so, that I've booked my flights here for the last three days that I'm in India.  I've decided that I will have done too much backpacking by that point, and a final three days of sun and relaxation will be just what the doctor ordered.

And so we will be on the move again this afternoon.  We are heading south to Cochin via a 15 hour overnight train, which will be an experience.  We are doing second class, air conditioned, so hopefully it won't be too bad, then our Kerala adventure begins!
