Day 1 and the madness ensues

Taipai airport- at this point I am a zombie

Me neither, but I found out today (yesterday? idk)

Heres the flight rundown:

Depart JFK at 11pm- A 10 hour flight to Anchorage

1 Hour layover then a 7 hour flight to Taipai, Taiwan

3 hour layover in Taipai followed by a 4 hours flight to Bangkok. \

So right now I have no idea what time it should be, but------ who cares! I am finally here. In the customs line I started up a conversation with 3 Austrians and now I am hanging out with them for a while. We got 2 rooms on a road parallel to Khao San for 10 bucks a night so... not bad. That night we went to a bar down the road from our place and listened to thais cover classic rock hits. The difference being that they dont really know the words so they kinda just make the noises, like when you try to singalong to a song that you dont really know. The food is the highlight so far, only 25 baht (33 baht= 1 $) for a meal of pad thai. The only bad part is the endless harassment by the tuk-tuk drivers. Literally, every 15 seconds your arm is grabbed and a map is flashing in from of your face. It gets old quick. Pics to be uploaded soon.
