Three days of sun and sand... just what the doctor ordered.  On Friday afternoon I traveled to Triunfo, a small, friendly, Garifuna village on the Caribbean Sea.  Kyler, Alex, Kurt, Paxton, and I swam until the sunset.  For all I know we were the only 5 people in he entire Caribbean, at least that is how it felt. We rented little cabanas on the beach.  For dinner we went to a little stick hut and had heaping plates of barbeque chicken with tajadas and veggie slaw.  The whole meal plus 2 beers was $5, can't beat it.  Our favorite game (and Howard Dean's) is "Oh, Hell" so we spent the rest of the night playing on the patio.  I fell asleep listening to the waves and woke up to the same tranquil sound.  In the morning six more of our friends showed up so by this point we had quite a crew but we were nearly the only beach bums there.  We spent literally the whole day on the beach.  I alternated between reading, tanning, and mostly swimming.  Body surfing is a lot of fun but so is simply swimming.  The water was clean and the bottom was scattered with sand dollars.  On Sunday I got up and had homemade pancakes and repeated the whole beach process again, this time only for a half day.
