Happy Easter!

I went to a Catholic service on Easter morning, which was in Spanish of course.  We did not really have an Easter celebration... we just watched movies and hung out.

I did something a little shocking and I am hesitant to tell everyone... I SHAVED MY HEAD.  Haha.  The head lice were getting to me and I was a little bored, I suppose.  So I am now sporting a half inch buzz cut!  Luckily, I look less like my brother Harry than I thought I might!  We joke that we are starting a gringo cult because now Alex, Nathan, Chad, Toby, Adrienne, and me all have the same haircut!  With two of us being girls, the Hondurans seem to think that it may just be a fashion statement (la moda de gringa), because after all, we are CRAZY GRINGOS.  They never know what to expect.  For a few days people just stared in utter shock but now I think they warming up to it a bit and the cat calls have returned.  I would probably never shave my head in the States but for some reason it is actually a refreshing change here and I honestly do not care what I look like.  At this point I need less attention from men, not more!  Also, it takes a certain amount of confidence to be able to pull off a shaved head so it has been a self-esteem builder more than anything.  Plus, no more head lice!

Last night I went to a pizza party at the small house.  We invited over all of our Honduran family and taught them how to make the dough and create pizzas.  Unfortunately, they only have a toaster oven so we spent about 4 hours making pizza for the 20 or so people present.  It made for a fun night though.
