Where I stayed
I thought I would us this opportunity to catch up on some blogging. Since my pace has been dizzying (esp in amsterdam) and I am at the mercy of wifi and power outlets to recharge my touch, it has been hard to keep this going as much as I would like. My hostel here has wifi and power outlets in my bunk. Since I am not planning on going out or drinking any beer( except for the one I had already). I have plenty of time to relax! Yay! I slept like 13 hours last night and woke up today to do a walking tour of Brugge. The walking tours have been awesome such an easy way to meet people and to get a quick n dirty of the city to get a better idea on where I want to. Go. My touch was out of batteries today so I will take some pics this weekend an post them next time I post from Brugge
When I arrived yesterday I did a beer tasting. It was incredible. There was so much information on the different types of Belgium beers, how the monks make them, why they all have their separate unique glasswear, the tastes, smells, etc. right up my alley. So cool! After that we all went to the bar that is right next to the hostel and continue to sample mor of the incredible beers. My goal is to take A picture and write down the name of all the different types of Belgium beers I am trying. Here are a few photos that I hAve had so far.
Brugge is a small, quaint town with a ton of gothic architecture and canals within the city with boats on them. I love the feel of this city and planning on hiring a bike one day, go to the park and relax, climb some of the churches and cathedrals, and continue sampling the awesome beer of Course! More to come!
