Where I stayed
I was still traveling w my travel friend Gregg and he was is a different part of the train than I was. The train ride was a good 14 hour ride so I decided to get a sleeper car. After a bout an hour I went to go find him. I found him and he was in a seated car with some guys from Norway. I sat down and we immediately hit it off. We partied, talked, laughed and drank until about 4 am. We call it the party train. Incredible conversation and company Throughout the night a couple of guys from Finland joined us as well. This was by far the highlight of my trip. Experiences like this you don't plan and are priceless .
So I ended up hanging out w Gregg and these Norwegians for the entire3 nights I was in Amsterdam
On the 4 th day everyone went their own ways which gave me a chance to recover from the long nights and drinking and go see some of the museums around the city I was very happy to have more a smaller, slower visit to Brugge next on my trip
Some of the things I have really enjoyed on this trip so far is watching the euro cup at each country that I am in. The euro cup is like the world cup but just for Europe. Its pretty big and it's absolute madness when the matches are going on. It's been cool to watch games at the bar in this environment.
My hostel in Amsterdam was right next to the red light district. What an amazingly bizarre place w all the hookers, weed shops, and sex stores. Just so weird.
Well I am in bruges right now and think I won't be going to Brussels due to the feedback from a lot of travelers I have talked to. I think I will head to Ghent instead another smaller belgium town w really good beer! Yay!
Anyway. I really miss good, healthy food and working out. Budget traveling like I am I am eating a lot of quick, easy, and cheap food. It dowsnt feel too good:)
Till next time!
