Whoa...this afternoon was intense! We arrived at the elementary school and unfortunately, our sponsor contact wasn't going to be meeting up with us. We had the name of the woman who would be, but had no idea where we were going to find her. When we realized no one was meeting up with us at the RV, I went inside the school and started asking around. Finally found our lady and she was awesome. Tonia made the afternoon happen and I hope she reads this and knows how much we appreciated her!

She had it arranged that several grades at a time would meet up in the school's common room for J.P.'s program. We had to cut the program down to 15-20 minutes in order to fit everyone in, but that ended up being good anyway because he ended up doing the program five times in a row, with very little break in between. Whew.

The last program ended up taking place in the auditorium, which was blessedly air conditioned and wonderful, so it was nice to end our day in there...didn't want to leave, in fact.

And then one of the teachers told us on our way out that we were parked right at the set of doors that all of the students use to leave through, so we weren't able to move our RV until all the kids were gone. We made the best of it, handed out lots of flyers, and J.P. even had the chance to show a group of kids how to make a derby hat appear to bounce off your head. They were excited to go home and try it themselves.

We collapsed in the RV after the grounds were free of kids and made ample use of our electric hook-up before taking off. This is always such a satisfying part of the day... :)
