On our way home from Noosa we stopped off at Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo, crikey! Unfortunatley the man himself, who lives in the grounds with his family, wasn't there but it' got to be one of the best Zoo's around. Unlike the animal sanctuary you can walk around and pet the animals, apart from the crocs which are likely to rip your arm off! After lots of patience we also eventually witnessed a kangaroo hopping around, very cool.
