This is your first look at beautiful St Kilda, a trendy beach suburb just 15 minutes from the city centre on a tram. After a manic first week flat hunting we found ourselves a lovely wee apartment right on the beach front. From our balcony (veranda for the less trendy out there) there's an unobcured view over the beach, Port Philip Bay and St Kilda harbour on one side and to the other is the amazing sight of the Melbourne city skyline. Don't get much better than that.
