Its been a really long day so far. Took the bus from Bled to Ljubljana, ran around town for two hours, took another bus (2 1/2 hours) to Piran on the coast, tried to get a room at a nice looking hostel but they were all booked up, ran around for a while and had a local take me to a bar where his girlfriend worked so she could call the other sketchy looking hostel that was not open when I checked it and followed her to where the owner was waiting. She charged me twice the price since she said she had no more dorm rooms but the room looked okay. Talked to another girl staying here and she says that the water doesnt work in the whole place and that her room is flooded. But besides the lousy accomadations, Piran is a beautiful seaside town with Venetion architecture, a huge square in the center of it and lots of small restaurants and cafes by the water. Im going to try to get out of here tomorrow morning and catch the 6:45 bus for Trieste and catch a train to Venice but Im not sure what Im going to do after that. I dont want to stay in Venice overnight since it is Italys most expensive city but I dont want to skip it either since it is slowly sinking and I dont know the next time I will make it back to Italy. Ill see how I feel tomorrow but my options are either to stay in Venice a bit and then take a train to Florence where I can book a NICE hostel OR I can skip Italy altogether and see how long it would take me to get to Spain with few stops along the way (not to keen on Italy or France since both are pretty expensive). Oh well, first things first, sleeping in this dirty hostel! Love and miss you all! Write me (Squasha!)!
