Before breaking off for a new adventure with random strangers, I revisit old adventures with good friends that are moving on. Boarding the plane for Florida I recall making the same steps almost a year to the day before. It is different now. I am alone, and there is no laughing. The airport bar isn't open this time, and I have the overwhelming sense that the better times have slipped away, neither unnoticed or unappreciated, simply evaporated.

Charles,

It sounds like you are having and amazing time. The views and location are pretty much to die for and the pictures you've taken help give a glimpse of what it is like. Sarah and I missed you this past weekend but if I could have it anyway it would be with you in the South Pacific. Right now I am in my midterm/finals week and have 5 exams. So I find it nice to look at your pictures and find my happy place. I hope that you continue to see amazing things, meet cool people, and stay safe. I can't wait to hear more about your trip. Keep us posted.
