A last few days in LA, more driving in crazy freeway traffic, more boogie boarding on Manhattan Beach. Went to the Hollywood Bowl with Joan & the family & saw Brian Wilson & the LA Philharmonic with a firework concert - spectacular setting in the Hollywood hills.
SkyDining on the 35th floor of a Downtown tower and a visit to the Getty Villa - a replica of a villa buried by Vesuvius. Eventually met up with our friend Anita for drinks in W Hollywood after she & Yolande found their way back onto the map!
Huge big Thank you to Joan, Graham , Imogen & Finlay who put us up.
There's still five hours left for us to experience an earthquake. Graham has experienced four or five since they have been here but Joan has either been asleep or back in Harrogate! 
Next stop the Cook Islands...
