A big thank you to Gavin & Iain for hosting a fabulous leaving party for us and all their closest friends, at the gorgeous Newick Park.
Hopefully they will enjoy their honeymoon in Hawaii.& had a great day for their civil partnership! The only day the sun managed to shine continuously all summer

So glad you enjoyed the party we threw for you both - the least we could do !
Sadly our travels are now over (unlike some who are gadding around til next March !) Had fantastic time at the Aloha state. All 3 islands we went to are quite different, our favourite would be Kauai. Did a helicopter trip, volcano watching, went to top of Manau Kea and did stargazing. I even did bodysurfing which was simultaneously exhilerating and terrifying. Gavin stayed in the hotel room...
Decided we love mai-tai's - have you had them - they are just divine !
Hope you are having fab time - just going to catch up on all of your entries now (so to speak...)
