Doing the Delta Shuffle.  Remember how I mentioned slipping and sliding on my way home?  Every time it comes up in conversation (and we are all Canadians, so weather is a constant topic) I'm told to do the "Delta Shuffle".  Scuff your feet along the ground without lifting them.  One woman told me it saved her from falling more than once last year.
Note:  in case you missed any previous posts, this region is a delta (leading to the Beaufort Sea).
