Welcome from Anchorage. We arrived yesterday about 7:30 p.m. The flight was great. We left on time (surprise!) We had chicken and rice for dinner on the plane - not tooooo bad! We found our home away from home near the downtown area. It is nice, three bedrooms. We were really hungry when we arrived and went to one of the recommended "fine dining" restaurants called Orso's. Guess what Ron had --- give up --- spaghetti and meatballs - what a surprise. Well, it's Sunday morning and we are gearing up for our sight seeing day. Hope to take in the Alaskan Heritage Center and look for some BEARS! Blog to you soon. :-), :-)
