Wakeboarding is so much fun! The venue was Taal Lake, Talisay, Batangas. Taal Lake is famous because of the active Taal Volcano that sits on an island in the center of the lake. The first time I tried wakeboarding, I was such a klutz. Good thing I didn't give up. Now, I can proudly claim, I'm a wakeboarder (even if I've only done it twice).

Hey! I had a really nice time wakeboarding in Taal lake too. The Lake is so beautiful and you can really see Taal Volcano up close. Best time to be out the boat is Sunset. Great times at taal.We went out with Talisayboardinghouse. The village of Talisay is your gateway tothe beautiful Taal lake. Great place, and affordable too. I brought my backpacker friends there and we all had a blast, the owners of the place are really friendly and tried really hard to make it a trip for us friends. Search "Talisay wakeboard" in google and I'm sure anyone interested can find their contact details.

I really recommend it for all you travelers out there.

Hey Anne, tried out wakeboarding in Taal lake and let me tell you...
It's Fabulous!!!
We stayed in the boardinghouse like you adviced for 3 whole days and let me tell you. I brought my family and even for us there's so much to do! Day 1 we used to wakeboard at sunset and of course bummed and drank a little wine and dinner at night. Day 2 we hired a boat to take us to Hike the volcano. Even my 12 years old son enjoyed the trek up and especially the boat ride through lake taal. The 3rd day, Mark (who was our instructor) towed the kids on their floatables which was so much fun for the kids.
For everyone reading this, Anne was right! Go and see Taal lake via Talisay.

Even I finally stood up on a wakeboard. And let me tell you, my only sport is shopping.
