So round 2 and there's ANOTHER Swedish band festival!  This time in the old university of Uppsala.  Which btw is a very pretty town, feels like one of those small country cities (like Ballarat =P) but with a very large student population haha.  As one of Swedish guys said as we drove past cans of beer on window sills "See, this is a student town" =P

The festival was good fun, lots of bands this time though, 10+ I reckon and each with their own dance groups and wow were some of them good.  Birdland, I want you back, walking on sunshine, jump jive n wail ahh, they were some really cool songs and everyone there were such good dancers!!  I was too shy though to ask any Swedish girls out to dance =P ahh next time haha, after some practise maybe XD  Unfortunately, I think I've also come into some hearing loss...who the hell mics up a band of 50 people in a tent! =S  (though sitting near the front of the speakers is probably also not a good idea...XD)  There was also a really awesome dance group called the Patricia, those guys were good!  Everyone was so synchronised and the routines weren't easy either =P.  I think we saw them like 3 times hahaha.

Was cool wandering around Uppsala too, even though it's an university town, it has quite a lot of history including the largest church in Sweden!  The Domkyrkan...even though it doesn't have a dome =P.  It really was quite big and quite pretty inside =)  Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to go into the Uppsala univeristy (The oldest in Scandinavia I think) which I'm quite sad about because all the pictures of it are amazing!  Marbled staircases, giant theatres...prestige.  But the town was very pretty, especially along the river.  My favourite moment would've been when it snowed yellow leaves while we walked through the park, ahh, to have deciduous trees.

Oooh, I also got another badge, well had to buy it this time.  It's a tradition for many members of the student orchestras and clubs to have these jackets full of badges and medals and random memorabilia of festivals and activities that they've been involved in.  You might notice some of them in the pictures.  The really old people have medals and badges's really cool, but also really heavy as I found out from holding one of them XD.  But yes, I have a collection of my own now =D
