Got into Bangkok, Tom met Aug and I at the airport and we are all settled in at Tomīs apartment.  Tomīs brother, Chris, is also in the area (he is traveling through Asia) so he will be hanging out with us for a week or so.

The plan is to hang in Bangkok for a day or two and then take off north to Chang Mai, rent some motor scooters and take off to the mountains north of Chang Mai.
