Meet up with Eva and Regula around 11am to do a beach day. It was great. The three of us sat out on the beach to soak up rays, chat and take little naps. Chatted about random stuff. Strangely enough it took them a while to mention that they had boyfriends..... either way I'm not a home wrecker.

Eva and Regula are both 21 and are about to start University. The Swiss schooling system is weird, they go to university at a much later age but they still have to know what they want to do at a much earlier age than Americans. Both of them took some time off in between, so that set them back a bit more than usual. Eva claimed that she wanted to practice her English, but she always refused to speak it, so we pretty much only spoke Swiss German (I can always use the practice).

Chilling on the beach made me think of the days of chilling on the beach in Greece with Mir (aka Miranda). The beach is quite nice here in Nida, but it was way way better and more kick ass in Greece. Anyways Mir, the beach made me think of you. I hope school is going well. By the way, I meant to send you a postcard from Nida, but I totally forgot to buy postcards.... you will just have to wait till next time I am at a beach.

Anyway, the girls and I went and checked out the sunset on the dunes. We were goofing around at the top and I took a bunch of cool pictures of us with the sunset and some silhouette shots. Afterwards we went and ate dinner (more yummy fish) and had a few beers. It was cold and windy out, so we retreated to our rooms.

The next day we met up early to get some bikes and ride the Curonian Spit. We biked along the bike pathway for almost 30km through awesome forest and beach. It was a beautiful bike ride with damn good weather (apparently it rains all the time out here, we haven't had a drop yet). We made it to our destination and were wiped out. We rewarded ourselves with an awesome late lunch and a beer. Went to Witches Hill, which is a hill of wood carved statues. Really cool. We were totally wiped and really didn't feel like riding the 30km back to Nida. We placed all our chips on the fact that the bus would take us back with the bikes.... it took a bit of convincing, but the bus driver took pity on the girls. Great day with lots of pretty views and making fun of the girls.

We debated staying another night in Nida, but decided to move on. We all took a bus and a ferry back to Klaipedia. The girls are off tomorrow for the Hill of Crosses and I am off to Vilnius with a night bus tonight. Our bus ride back to Klaipedia was so full I had this random girl (she was probably about 22 years old and about 5ft 10in) ask if she could sit on my lap. I didn't refuse that, so I talked to her and her friend for the rest of the bus ride while she sat on my lap. Pretty funny.

Eva and Regula, I had a great time hanging out with you girls, it was fun making fun of you (and I guess you guys making fun of my swiss-german) and hanging out. I will see that I can hopefully make it out to visit you girls before I leave Switzerland (no promises though). Its always nice to travel and hang out with some fellow Swiss (especially when they are as easy going and as pretty as you girls are). Maybe I will catch you girls again in Vilnius.

Cool girls with boyfriends..... half the story of my life with women.
