Damn I don't want to leave this place, it is so damn beautiful. The Lofoten Islands are a series of islands that are between the Arctic Ocean and the Norwegian Sea and they are basically made up of mountains with a few flat spots. The islands don't have a large population, so its lots of small fishing towns. I'm staying in this town called Stamsund where they have this awesome hostel.

I hitch hiked to the hostel (took me a bit, but then a chick picked me up) because the buses don't run too often. The hostel is on the dock of the harbor, you walk out the door and you are on the dock. There are three row boats that you can take out and row around the harbor and then onto the Norwegian Sea.

+ I did an awesome day hike that over looks the surrounding area
+ met two cool Italian guys Andrea and Mateo (Teo) from Milan
+ with Andrea and Teo, we drove around the islands checking out all the cool scenery
+ Teo cooked us some awesome pasta, haven't had pasta that good since I left Italy, those Italians know what they are doing. By the way, they swear by Barilla pasta.
+ swam in the Norwegian Sea, its really damn cold
+ took the row boat out for a spin on the Norwegian Sea

The water here is so damn clear. It has this beautiful tint like the water in the Caribbean, so its really misleading as to how cold it is.

I ended up staying an extra day here, if I had more time, I would have spent more time exploring these northern islands. By the way, its never dark here, never even close, its always pretty damn bright out here (2am, 4am, whenever).
