Ok, so let me start with some facts on Norway, mainly a fact on cost of beer. It is true that it is extremely expensive here. I can't afford to go out and drink here (which is probably a good thing). Beer costs 55-60 Norwegian Kroner (which is 9-10 US dollars) and thats the cheapest that I have seen. In the supermarket, beer costs about 22 Kroner for each beer, almost 4 dollars (thats the average price per beer when you buy a six pack). So a 6 pack of the crappiest beer in the supermarket is roughly 130 Kroner which is equal to almost 21 US dollars, thats fucking crazy.

The beer price isn't justifiable, but the country is extremely beautiful. I took the train ride from Oslo to Bergen (the 2nd largest city) and it is about a 7 hour train ride through some of Norway's most beautiful country side. And actually that isn't entirely correct since this whole country is incredibly beautiful, but the train ride is highly recommended. Bergen is also an awesome town. Norway has very much a New England look to it which is pretty cool because its like a hip and cool country decorated like New England. I know its strange but its the only way I can describe it. Got some pictures on the train, but it kind of sucks because they were all through the train window. It would have been nice if I could have stopped the train in these spots to take pictures and check out the scenery.

Met some really cool people at the hostel. This dude Ali from Iran now lives in Germany because he is a political refugee and let me tell you he has got some crazy stories. We listened to him for almost 2hrs in total telling some crazy stories about how he was being cased by Iranian Secret Service and sneaking across several countries borders, crazy crazy stories. Ali gave me some great tips on travelling Iran and invited me to hang out in Germany. Ali, I will see you in about a month bro. This other dude Josh (from Australia) and I might meet up in some of the Baltic countries in a couple of weeks. And this really cool German girl, Gina, lives in southern Spain which I haven't done yet, so she said she would show me around southern Spain.

We all went out and got some beers at night. And by beers I actually mean that I got "a" beer, as in one.
