Lots to talk about.
+ saw the Domabache Palace (where Attaturk ruled and died)
+ saw his Harem and where his multiple wives lived, pretty funny setup. The Sultan's mom is the head of the Harem and her bedroom is located between the wives and her Sultan son... so that she can manage the flow, crazy, couldn't imagine my mom doing that for me.
+ cool palace, would have been even "cooler" had they had some form of cooling such as AC, way too fucking hot
+ saw the Blue Mosque (its famous because its big and has a blue tint to it, never really saw the blue tint) and some other mosques

Turkish baths are quite interesting. They in fact have nothing really to do with an actual bath. Its a circular room with small amounts of light coming through tiny glass circles in the ceiling. Its basically a steam room, where you lie around in only your towel with other dudes (chics and dudes are separate). You can use these buckets to pour hot or cold water on your self. After sweating for a while a Turkish bath guy (for me it was a fat old Turkish guy, I was hoping for a fat old Turkish lady, but no ladies allowed in our room, oh well). You lie down and he takes a cloth and rubs the old skin off your entire body. He then pours water over you to rinse and then he takes out his soap cloth and covers you in soap and scrubs you clean with soap. When soaping you, he also gives you a small massage. He rinses you again and then wraps three towels around you. Pretty interesting. Still wanted the fat old Turkish lady.

+ at night we went out to this area called Taxsim, its a main strip where there are shops and stuff
+ went to some cool bars and saw a bit of live music, they played a pretty good version of Pink Floyd's "Just another brick in the wall"
+ night was topped off with more late-night beers on the roof
