Budapest, Hungary
Entry 9 of 108 | show all | print this entry |
Eric wanted to chill out so he went directly to Prague to hang out for a week. I am now in Budapest, Hungary for a couple of days and then I will catch up with Eric in Prague.
+ Vienna had really cool architecture + was inside one of the most elaborate churches I have ever been in + had my first bratwurst of the trip, oh how I miss the good German-ish food + Eric and I hung out with a cool coloradan named Harry + We went out and got shit faced with a bunch of 10th graders from Germany that were celebrating the end of their school year. Funny how a class of 32 kids could be that entertained by 3 Americans. They were herding around us like flies on shit just to talk to us. By the way, Eric got the email address of one of the girls... way to go bro, she might even be old enough to drive. + Budapest is cool, its quite cheap and the people are friendly. + I tried paying for a beer with what is eqivalent to a 50 dollar bill (the ATM gave me one damn bill), they couldn't give me change, they had to talk to 3 store owners to get change, crazy. + Was hanging out in the hostel and the New Zealand couple from the overnight train walked in, they were curious if Eric had fallen out of any more beds. Funny, such a small world + met up with my buddy Balazs (he lives in Budapest) for a few beers, its nice having someone show me around

Chuck My Man. It sounds like you are having a blast. I am definately jealous. I often wish I could just pack up and just pack for awhile. I will keep checking up on your travels and who knows maybe I meet up with you in Europe or along your Latin America travels. Who knows.
